Our stay at The Crown Of was absolutely delightful. The accommodation was clean and tastefully furnished, providing a cozy and comfortable atmosphere. We particularly enjoyed the convenient location in the stable block, with all the ground floor rooms situated in a quiet area at the rear of the main pub and restaurant. The staff were charming and the food was simply superb. In fact, we must say that the "full English" breakfast was the best we've ever had! we highly recommend this hotel for a memorable and enjoyable stay.

The rooms were clean and nicely decorated, with a tasteful touch. They were located in a quiet area, away from the main hustle and bustle. The staff were friendly and the food was absolutely amazing, especially the full English breakfast. It was by far the best one I've ever had!
That there was no shelf in the bathroom to put our wash bag and other toiletries. It would have been more convenient to have hooks near the entrance door of the room for hanging wet coats.

We stayed at The Crown for a night to visit our son. The location is great, right at the end of the high street near the river and shops. The recently refurbished bedrooms are like little homes, with comfy beds and good-sized TVs. The ample parking was a bonus in this car space tight village. The pub in the annexe served tasty food and well-kept cask ale. Breakfast was delicious, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. We'll be back!
Would definitely recommend this hotel.
